DFSK 580Timing chain or Belt?

The DFSK 580 or Dongfeng Fengguang 580 is a C-segment compact SUV manufactured by the Chinese group Dongfeng Xiaokang under the DFSK brand, one of its sub-brands. Depending on the market, the model has different names. In Indonesia, it is sold as the DFSK Glory 580. In Russia, it is known as the DFM 580.

The Fengguang 580 debuted at the 2016 Beijing Auto Show. It was launched on the Chinese market in June 2016. In that initial version, the DFSK 580 featured a single engine, a 1.5-liter turbocharged SFG four-cylinder. Shortly after, a 1.8-liter naturally aspirated SFG four-cylinder engine was added. This generation is available with two different transmissions, a 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic. It also has two trim levels: the Comfort, which can be purchased with either engine, and the Luxury, which is only available with the 1.8 engine. All models feature a front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout.

In 2018, this model underwent its first facelift or redesign. There was a change in the front and rear headlights, as well as a more aesthetic bumper and new wheels. The interior received substantial improvements. This is the model that has arrived in Europe, with 7-seat configurations and premium options.

A couple of years later, the Fengguang 580 Pro arrived, which is a premium variant of this model, but is only available in China.
