About MASERATI GHIBLI
The Maserati Ghibli is a luxury executive car of the E-segment produced by the Italian manufacturer Maserati, part of the FCA conglomerate (currently Stellantis). The Ghibli was reborn in 2013, when it was presented at the Shanghai Auto Show. Prior to this model, there were 2 previous generations, the Ghibli AM115 (1967-1973) and the AM336 (1992 - 1998).
The current Maserati Ghibli is positioned one step below the Quattroporte. It uses the Maserati M156 platform, a base that its older brother would later use. The Ghibli is available with both gasoline and diesel engines. In the diesel range, the Ghibli features a V6 engine designed by Paulo Martinelli, one of the best engine specialists Ferrari has in its ranks. This engine is also shared with the Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The Ghibli is sold in several versions, with the Ghibli S variant being the high-performance version, which is equipped with twin-turbo V6 engines. In 2020, the car was redesigned. With the facelift, the first hybrid versions of the Ghibli were born, specifically a version with a 48-volt electric supercharger.
