The Acura ILX is a luxury compact sedan automobile (C-segment in Europe) manufactured by Japanese marque Honda under its premium brand, Acura. The model has been in production since 2012. The car is based on the chassis the Honda Civic sedan, with which it shares a platform. The ILX is sold mainly in the United States and Canada, where it replaced the Acura TSX. It is a compact sedan with a very complete and high quality equipment. It was also the first Acura vehicle to feature gasoline hybrid engines.
