The Acura MDX is a luxury SUV (E-segment in Europe) manufactured by the Japanese marque Honda under its premium brand, Acura. Its acronym stands for “Multi Dimensional LuXury“. It is Acura’s best-selling model in the United States, and is the second best-selling luxury crossover in the United States behind the Lexus RX.
MDX shares its platform with the Honda Pilot. It was launched in 2000 replacing the Acura SLX (only sold in North America). It has a total of 3 generations to date.
