The Acura RDX is a luxury compact SUV ( C-segment in Europe) manufactured by the Japanese marque Honda under its premium brand, Acura. It is the first crossover launched under the Acura brand. Its development is closely related to the Honda CR-V and Honda Civic, with which it shares its platform.
The RDX was first shown at the 2006 New York Auto Show and went on sale a year later. It is sold especially in Asia and North America. It has had a total of 3 generations to date.
