The Cadillac CTS is a high-end automobile (E-segment in Europe) manufactured by the American marque General Motors. It was first sold as a replacement for the Cadillac Catera. It has been marketed for 3 generations with sedan, coupe and estate body styles.

The first generation Cadillac CTS was introduced in 2003, built on GM’s Sigma platform and equipped with independent suspension. It was the first Cadillac offered with a manual transmission since 1988. In 2004, GM also introduced a high-performance version of the CTS called the CTS-V, which was intended to compete with luxury sedans from other brands such as BMW and Mercedes-Benz. The CTS-V was equipped with a V8 engine, a manual transmission and upgrades to the suspension and brakes.

The second generation Cadillac CTS was introduced in 2008. It was longer and wider than the previous model. It was also offered with all-wheel drive and a tire pressure monitoring system. The CTS was intended to relaunch the Cadillac brand in Australia and New Zealand in 2008, but the plan was eventually cancelled due to the global financial crisis.

The third generation Cadillac CTS was introduced in 2013 and featured three engine options: a turbocharged inline 4-cylinder, a V6 and a new twin-turbo V6 engine. The twin-turbo model was only available in the Cadilllac CTS Vsport, a new trim level that sits between the 3.6L V6 and the high-performance CTS-V. The third-generation CTS is closer in size and market position to the old STS model.
