About Land Rover Discovery

The Land Rover Discovery is an E-segment off-road vehicle produced by Jaguar Land Rover, a subsidiary of Tata Motors. Its first version was launched in 1989. It is a more affordable version of the Range Rover. To date, the Discovery has had a total of 5 versions, divided into 3 generations according to the brand. In addition, in 2014 the brand launched the Land Rover Discovery Sport, a compact version of the Discovery designed to compete in a slightly lower segment.

The Land Rover Discovery is sold as a family car with authentic off-road capabilities. However, the passage of time has made the Discovery increasingly a luxury car. This is noticeable in details such as the bodywork, which has moved away from angles to favor design lines, and the interiors, which are now more spacious and can even be adapted to obtain 7 seats. Although the Discovery was originally presented as the affordable alternative to the Range Rover, it has eventually become a luxury SUV.
