About Land Rover Range Rover
The Land Rover Range Rover, commonly known as the Range Rover, is an F-segment 4x4 vehicle manufactured by the Land Rover brand under its subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover, owned by the Tata group. This model was launched in 1970 as Land Rover's flagship. Gradually, its great prestige has led the Range Rover to become practically a brand within the group, giving birth to the Range Rover family, consisting of the Sport, the Evoque, and the Velar.
The first generation of the Range Rover dates back to 1969, and we currently refer to it as the Range Rover Classic. Originally, it was not created as a luxury vehicle, but rather quite the opposite. Its goal was to be a vehicle capable of moving across adverse terrains, as well as being used as a work vehicle.
The second generation of the Range Rover arrived in 1995 under BMW, since the Germans took control of Rover in 1994 before selling it again in the year 2000 because they were unable to make it profitable.
