About LAND ROVER FREELANDER

The Land Rover Freelander is a D-segment mid-size SUV produced by Jaguar Land Rover, a subsidiary of Tata Motors. It was marketed from 1997 until 2014, when it was replaced by the Land Rover Discovery Sport. The Freelander features 3- and 5-door body styles. During the first generation, a "hardtop" variant existed.

The goal Land Rover pursued with the Freelander was to enter the SUV market, since until then the brand had only created off-road vehicles focused on off-roading. Its rivals were the Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class, Volvo XC60, BMW X3, Audi Q5, and Infiniti EX. There are a total of 2 generations of this car.
