About SsangYong Korando
The SsangYong Korando is a C-segment compact SUV from the Korean manufacturer SsangYong Motor, belonging to the Mahindra & Mahindra company. Its first version dates back to 1983, when Ha Dong-hwan Motor Company began manufacturing military vehicles based on the Jeep Willis JC-5. In 1988, this company joined the SsangYong group and began collaborating with Daimler / Mercedes-Benz for the development of its SUV vehicles. The first generation of the Korando is nothing more than a version of the Jeep CJ-7. The second would arrive as a small SUV, a shorter version of the SsangYong Musso. Its diesel vehicles were powered by Mercedes-Benz.
The Korando has had a total of 4 generations to date. It competes against the Hyundai ix35 / Tucson and the Kia Sportage.
