Dacia Duster — TIMING CHAIN OR BELT?

MODEL LIST - (UPDATED 2023)

| Home / Dacia / List of Dacia Duster Models without Timing Belt

The Dacia Duster is a SUV and 4×4 car (B-segment in Europe) marketed under the Romanian brand Dacia and produced by the French Renault group. In some countries it is sold as Renault Duster or Nissan Terrano, due to the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi brand alliance. The platform used by Renault for the Duster is the so-called B0 platform, which is common for the group’s low-end cars, including vehicles from Renault, Nissan, Lada and Dacia.

Its body is SUV and is sold both in front-wheel drive and in a basic but useful and functional 4-wheel drive or 4×4. There is also a pick-up version called Renault Duster Oroch that is only sold in South America.

The Dacia Duster has little competition in its segment at price levels. Like the rest of Dacia’s vehicles, it is designed to the millimeter to be an economical and affordable car to as many people as possible. However, its competitors are the Opel Mokka, Ford EcoSport, Kia Stonic and Hyundai Kona. There are 2 generations of this SUV to date.
