TIMING CHAIN OR BELT? MODEL LIST - (UPDATED 2022)

| Home / Ford / List of Ford EcoSport Models without Timing Belt

The Ford EcoSport is a SUV (B-segment in Europe) manufactured by American automaker Ford. It was initially designed as a compact crosssover for emerging economies. The first version was based on the European Platform for the Ford Fiesta and Ford Fusion (Platform Ford B3). This vehicle was mainly sold in Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela and Mexico. It had goodselling rates and was considered a successful car.

Noticing the popularity peak of B-segment SUV vehicles, Ford decided to develop the second generation of EcoSport for the international market. The EcoSport Mk2 (global) arrived in 2012, and was manufactured in Platform Ford B2E, where the Ford Fiesta 6 Gen was also manufactured. Some of its competitors are the Nissan Juke, Opel Mokka, the Peugeot 2009 and the Renault Captur. There are two generations of the Ford EcoSport to date.
