The Jeep Compass is a compact crossover SUV (C-segment in Europe) manufactured by the American automaker Jeep, within the Italian conglomerate FCA (now Stellantis). It was launched in 2007. Together with the Patriot, they were part of the brand’s first crossovers. The first generation used Chrysler facilities in Illinois, as well as the Daimler-Chrysler/Mitsubishi GS platform, which were shared with the Jeep Patriot and Dodge Caliber.

The second generation arrived under the FCA umbrella and used a smaller base, namely the group’s Small Wide LWB platform, shared with the Fiat 500X and Jeep Renegade.

There have been a total of 2 generations of this SUV. Among its competitors are the Nissan Qashqai, the Mitsubishi ASX or the Skoda Karoq among others.
