About FIAT 500X
The Fiat 500X is a B-segment subcompact SUV or crossover from the Italian manufacturer Fiat under the FCA Group (Stellantis after the merger with PSA). The platform used for its manufacture differs from that of the original 500, as it uses the Small Wide 4×4 architecture, a modification of the GM Fiat Small Platform, used for example in the Grande Punto. The 500X is the successor to the Fiat Sedici, a vehicle that was co-developed with Suzuki at the time.
The engine range of the 500X is considerably more varied than in the 500, 500C, and 500L, both in displacement and power. It is also sold in four-wheel-drive versions. Among its body variants are the Fiat 500 Pop Star, Fiat 500X Cross, Fiat 500X Urban Look, and Fiat 500 Cross Look.
The Fiat 500X stands out from its competitors for its design. It has only had one generation so far, although it has been redesigned over the years. Its competitors include the Jeep Renegade, the Mini Countryman, the Mazda CX-3, the Nissan Juke, the Opel Mokka, and the Ford Puma.
