About FIAT FULLBACK
The Fiat Fullback is a mid-size pickup truck by the Italian manufacturer Fiat. Production began in 2016 following a partnership agreement between Fiat and Mitsubishi Motors signed in 2014.
This model was presented at the Dubai International Motor Show in November 2015. In some countries, it is marketed as the Ram 1200. The pickup is mechanically identical to the fifth-generation Mitsubishi Triton / L200, from which the engines also originate. The pickup is assembled in Thailand at the Mitsubishi Motors Thailand facility. The only changes compared to the L200 are the front grille, some interior trim specifications, and Mopar customizations.
Regarding the engines, the van has 2.4-liter and 2.5-liter diesel engines ranging from 110 hp to 181 hp, as well as a 6-speed manual transmission.
The Fiat Fullback is available in single cab, extended cab, double cab, and chassis cab configurations. It offers three trim levels, but all versions have the same height, width, and wheelbase. The vehicle is sold in some regions of Europe, as well as the Middle East and Africa.
The main competitors of the Fiat Fullback in the mid-size pickup segment are the Toyota Hilux, the Nissan Navara, the well-known Ford Ranger, and the Volkswagen Amarok. So far, there is only one generation of this pickup.
