About FIAT TIPO

The Fiat Tipo is a compact C-segment vehicle manufactured by the Italian maker Fiat under the FCA Group (Stellantis after the merger with PSA). It is marketed in Hatchback and Sedan body styles, replacing the Fiat Bravo and Fiat Linea respectively. It is also sold in a Station Wagon body style. In other markets, this car is sold under the name Fiat Egea or Dodge Neon.

The "Fiat Tipo" brand has been used by Fiat since the early 20th century to designate its vehicles, with a first generation of cars bearing this name being marketed until the 1920s. Later, in 1988, a new generation of vehicles with this name emerged, which was sold until 1998. It was also a C-segment passenger car and replaced the Fiat Ritmo. The 1988 Tipo also gave rise to the Fiat Tempra in 1990, which was its sedan and station wagon version.

The Fiat Tipo that re-emerged in 2015 is characterized by being an affordable vehicle, with good design and fully efficient, proven, and simple mechanics. It has multiple competitors, but positions itself quite well in its segment thanks to its value for money. Among them are the Hyundai i30, the Kia Ceed, the Chevrolet Cruze, and the Citroen C4.
