About FIAT BRAVO / BRAVA
The Fiat Bravo is a C-segment compact vehicle from the Italian brand Fiat. This car began production in 1995, and saw new versions released starting in 2007.
The first generation of the Fiat Bravo had different names depending on the car's body style:
All of these models replaced both the older Fiat Tipo and the Fiat Tempra. The hatchback and liftback variants of the Bravo were named European Car of the Year in 1996. Later, in 2001, these two models were replaced by the Fiat Stilo.
In 2007, the Fiat Bravo was reintroduced in numerous markets. This was because the aesthetics of the Fiat Stilo failed to fully catch on. It was produced until 2015 and was sold exclusively as a hatchback variant. Following this period, Fiat returned to covering the compact segment with the Fiat Tipo in its hatchback and sedan variants. In markets like Brazil, the Italian brand opted for the Fiat Argo.
The Bravo and its variants competed with other compacts of the era, such as the Renault Megane, the Seat Leon, or the Opel Astra.
