MG ZS (SUV) — TIMING CHAIN OR BELT?

MODEL LIST - (UPDATED 2023)

| Home / MG / List of MG ZS Models without Timing Belt

The MG ZS is a subcompact crossover SUV (B-segment in Europe) manufactured by the Chinese automaker SAIC Motor under the British marque MG. It was announced at the 2016 Guangzhou Motor Show. The name of this crossover refers to the original MG ZS, a compact that was sold in both sedan and hatchback body styles during the MG-Rover era. There is only one generation of this car to date.

The MG ZS is also known as MG Astor in India. The electric version of this car is officially named MG ZS EV. However, in the Chinese market it is called MG EZS.

The MG ZS is the second SUV to be produced under the MG brand after the MG GS. It ranks below the MG GS and the MG HS. However, it does rank above the MG 3 Hatchback. It is currently the brand’s best-selling model in international markets. This model features a front engine and front-wheel drive. In terms of engines, the MG ZS is offered only in gasoline versions, with a three-cylinder 1.0 T engine and a 1.5 naturally aspirated inline four-cylinder version.

This vehicle competes with other affordable SUVs such as the Kia Stonic, Dacia Duster or the Ssangyong Tivoli.
