About MINI CLUBVAN
The Mini Clubvan is a van from the British brand Mini under the umbrella of the BMW Group. It has only had one generation since its launch in 2012. It is the commercial version of the Mini Clubman and did not have a direct predecessor model.
The Mini Clubvan was introduced at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. It uses the UKL1 platform, the same one as the rest of the Mini range and the smaller BMW cars. It is offered exclusively with a 3-door body style. It features a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 122 hp of power. Regarding equipment, it is quite basic and oriented towards utilitarian use, featuring 15-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, and a CD radio. The cargo capacity is 1,000 liters.
An interesting detail about the Mini Clubvan is that it was created specifically for certain markets like the United Kingdom, where it enjoys tax benefits as it is considered a commercial vehicle.
The Mini Clubvan has no direct rivals, although some of its more premium alternatives can include vehicles like the Mercedes-Benz Citan or the Chevrolet HHR.
