TATA ARIA: timing chain or timing belt information

About TATA ARIA

The Tata Aria is a D-segment SUV manufactured by Tata Motors from India. It was launched in 2010 at the Auto Expo in Delhi as a replacement for the Tata Estate.

The first and only generation of the Tata Aria had a peculiar body style, halfway between an SUV and a minivan. The vehicle was developed in collaboration with Jaguar-Land Rover. Thanks to this, the car could be sold in Europe, as it was able to pass the Old Continent's homologation in terms of safety.

The Aria featured a single 2.2L Dicor 4-cylinder inline turbodiesel engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. The manufacturer chose not to equip this vehicle with gasoline mechanics.

The Tata Aria was succeeded by the Tata Hexa, which featured a new exterior design and revised interiors. In the international market, the Aria positioned itself as the cheapest vehicle in its segment, being more affordable than other equivalent SUVs and MPVs.
