About TATA TIGOR
The Tata Tigor is a B-segment subcompact utility vehicle from the Indian brand Tata Motors. It is the sedan version of the Tata Tiago, and was launched in India in March 2017. This model is also known as the Tata X Pres-T EV. The Tigor is the successor to the Tata Zest.
The Tata Tigor was born from the same project that originated the Tata Tiago, internally known as 'Kite 5'. This project aimed to develop two new compact cars for emerging economies. Unlike the Zest, the Tigor is slightly shorter and offers a 419-liter trunk. The Tigor features a fastback-style design, which allows for a larger trunk opening. Sales of this model began in the year 2017.
This fastback offers several engine options, including a 1.2 Revotron gasoline engine and a 1.05 L Revotorq diesel engine. There is also a sporty version called the Tigor JTP with a turbocharged engine. On the other hand, in late 2018, Tata launched the Tigor EV, an electric vehicle that uses an engine called 'Ziptron'.
Regarding safety, all versions of this vehicle achieved 4 stars in the Global NCAP tests (3 stars for child occupant protection).
