The Volvo C30 is a passenger car (C-segment in Europe) manufactured by the Swedish marque Volvo. It was sold between 2006 and 2013 as the successor to the Volvo 480, which was discontinued in 1995.

The C30 is a premium compact that had only one generation. This model is a variation of the Volvo S40 that was built on the P1 Platform (Ford Global C-Car Platform). It shares structural elements with the Mazda3 (BK and BL), Ford Focus II and Ford Kuga among many other cars. This compact was sold only with a 3-door hatchback body. By its design, it could be considered a shooting brake vehicle.

In terms of powertrains, the C30 was equipped with several 4- and 5-cylinder in-line diesel and gasoline engines. During its sales cycle, numerous performance versions were marketed under the name Polestar. Fully electric and hybrid versions were also launched.

The Volvo C30 competed with vehicles such as the Audi A3 and 3-door versions of the BMW 1 Series.
