The Volvo S90 is a luxury passenger car (E-segment in Europe) of the Swedish marque Volvo. It was developed within the Chinese car holding company Geely. The Volvo S90 has been produced since 2016, although there is a previous model that was sold between 1996 and 1998. It is the replacement for the Volvo S80. It is sold in sedan body, while its estate or family version is sold under the name Volvo V90. A longer version, or limousine, called Volvo S90L, is sold in China.

The current Volvo S90 was introduced at the 2016 Detroit Motor Show. It uses the Swedish brand’s SPA platform. There are two generations of this vehicle to date. It competes against other luxury executive vehicles such as the Audi A6, the BMW 5 Series, the Jaguar XF, the Lexus GS and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
