Dodge Magnum — TIMING CHAIN OR BELT?

MODEL LIST - (UPDATED 2023)

| Home / Dodge / List of Dodge Magnum Models without Timing Belt

The Dodge Magnum is a name that Dodge has used over the years in different markets and for different vehicles. In the United States and Canada, it was first used for a 2-door coupe from 1978 to 1979 and then revived for a family vehicle based on the Dodge Charger between 2004 and 2008.

The Dodge Magnum was a station wagon produced between 2004 and 2008. It was based on the rear-wheel drive Chrysler LX platform. It had four engine options, from a 190 hp V6 to a 425 hp Hemi V8. It was manufactured in Canada and used several components derived from Mercedes-Benz vehicles, including suspension and electrical components. The Dodge Magnum was well received and was included in Car and Driver magazine’s top ten list of cars in 2005.

Visually, the Dodge Magnum was a cross between the front end of the Dodge Charger and the rear end of the Chrysler 300C family car.

The Dodge Magnum SRT-8 was the performance version. It was unveiled at the 2005 Los Angeles Auto Show and went on sale that same year. It featured a 6.1L Hemi engine producing 425 hp.
