The Seat Exeo is a large family car (D-segment in Europe) by the Spanish brand Seat and manufactured by Volkswagen Group. It was sold for a single generation between 2008 and 2013. It was intended to be the brand’s benchmark saloon. Its name comes means “to go beyond” in Latin. It is one of the few Seats of the VAG era that is not named after a Spanish city.

The Exeo was sold in 4-door sedan and 5-door estate bodystyles, called Seat Exeo ST (which stands for Sport Tourer). It was built on the Volkswagen Group B7 (PL46) platform, being practically a rebadged of the Audi A4 B7. Initially only the saloon version was planned to be launched, but in mid-2009 the estate version was introduced.

A predecessor of the Exeo would be the Seat 132. The model was not redesigned, but the engines were updated in mid-2010, with the new VAG Group TFSI engines being introduced in petrol versions. It was sold in 3 variants depending on the interior and exterior finishes.
