Chevrolet Evanda — TIMING CHAIN OR BELT?

MODEL LIST - (UPDATED 2023)

| Home / Chevrolet / List of Chevrolet Evanda Models without Timing Belt

The Chevrolet Evanda is a passenger car (D-segment in Europe) launched under the Chevrolet brand and produced by GM Daewoo. The Evanda is a rebadged version of the Daweoo Magnus, a model of the Korean firm that was marketed between 2000 and 2006. It had only one generation.

The Daewoo Magnus was marketed as Daewoo Evanda in Western Europe and Chevrolet Evanda in Eastern Europe between 2000 and 2004. It replaced the Leganza and Chevrolet Alero. In 2004, the entire Daewoo brand was replaced by Chevrolet in Europe and the models were renamed accordingly. The Magnus was also renamed Suzuki Verona in the United States, Chevrolet Epica in Canada, China, Chile and Arabia, and Formosa Magnus in Taiwan. Suzuki dropped the Verona in the United States after 2006 due to low sales, probably because the model was only available with a 6-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine and automatic transmission, while other non-luxury midsize cars had larger engine options and manual transmissions available.
