Chevrolet Aveo — TIMING CHAIN OR BELT?

MODEL LIST - (UPDATED 2023)

| Home / Chevrolet / List of Chevrolet Aveo Models without Timing Belt

The Chevrolet Aveo or Daewoo Kalos is a subcompact car (B-segment in Europe) produced by the merger of General Motors and Daewoo Motors (GM-Daewoo Motors). It was created in 2002 to satisfy the South American market, but soon became a worldwide vehicle of the brand. There are both Hatchback and Sedan body styles available for this model.

This vehicle has been sold around the world under several other names, such as Chevrolet Lova, Daewoo Gentra, Holden Barina, Pontiac G3 Pontiac Wave or ZAZ Vida.

In 2015, the Chevrolet withdrew from Europe and the Chevy Aveo stopped being sold in that market. However, the model is still sold with new generations in countries such as Mexico.

The Aveo’s competition includes low-cost vehicles such as the Dacia/Renault Logan, Dacia Sandero, Kia Rio, Hyundai i20 and Citroen C3.
