About CHRYSLER 200
The Chrysler 200 is a D-segment passenger car from the American manufacturer Chrysler. It replaced the Chrysler Sebring and has a total of 2 generations. This model has been marketed in both sedan and convertible body styles.
The first generation of the Chrysler 200 was a revised version of the third-generation Chrysler Sebring, and was produced starting in 2006. It featured aesthetic updates and a new Pentastar V6 engine.
The second generation of the Chrysler 200 was introduced in 2015 and is based on the modified Fiat Compact Platform (Compact US Wide). It was offered in four trim levels with the goal of competing with other mid-size sedans such as the Toyota Camry and the Honda Accord. Unlike the previous model, this model was only offered in sedan form. Chrysler did not offer a convertible version due to declining demand and the high cost of creating a convertible model on the new platform.
