The Jaguar XJ is a luxury passenger car (F-segment in Europe) manufactured by the British marque Jaguar Cars, a subsidiary of the Jaguar Land Rover company. It is Jaguar’s longest-running model at the moment. It has been manufactured under 5 different platforms since 1968, each generation with its different variants. The fifth and last generation (2020) is a purely “Electric XJ” and currently coexists with the fourth generation, which came out in 2010.
The XJ is Jaguar’s flagship, rivaling other exclusive sallon cars such as the BMW 7 Series, the Audi A8, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the Cadillac CT6, the Lexus LS and the Maserati Quattroporte.
