The Mitsubishi Grandis is a 7-seater MPV (D-segment in Europe) manufactured by the Japanese marque Mitsubishi. It was launched in 2003 as a replacement for the Mitsubishi Chariot. It was sold until 2011 in a single generation.
The Grandis stood out for its exterior design, based on the Mitsubishi Space Liner. It also had outstanding safety features.
As for the engines, the Grandis was powered by 2.4-liter inline 4-cylinder engines. The diesel versions were provided by the Volkswagen Group, which supplied 2.0 TDI engines that were renamed DI-D.
The Mitsubishi Grandis competed with other MPVs in its segment such as the Peugeot 807, Toyota Previa, Kia Carnival, Renault Space, Ford Galaxy or Chrysler Voyager among many others.
