| Home / Kia / List of Kia Carnival Models without Timing Belt

The Kia Carnival / Sedona is a compact MPV (D-segment in Europe) manufactured by the South Korean marque Kia. It is a seven-seater minivan with sliding doors. It has been manufactured since 1999, and already has a total of 4 generations. In Great Britain and North America, it is marketed as Kia Sedona.

The first version of the Kia Carnival was introduced in 1998, and had different variants depending on the market in which it was marketed. The second generation arrived in 2005 in two different sizes, the short (SWB) and long (LWB), called the Kia Grand Carnival. The short version shared a platform with the Kia Magentis, and was aimed at the European market. Between 2006 and 2009, this same model was sold as Hyundai Entourage.

The third generation of the Carnival / Sedona was introduced in 2014, and focused on the American market, Saudi Arabia, Asia and Latin America. The fourth and latest generation of this model has grown in height. It is manufactured on the Hyundai-Kia N3 platform and is marketed since 2021 in markets such as America, China and Russia.

Among Kia Carnival’s rivals we can find other minivans such as the Seat Alhambra, the Renault Space, the Citroën C8, the Chrysler Voyager and the Volkswagen Sharan.
