| Home / Volkswagen / List of Volkswagen Sharan Models without Timing Belt

The Volkswagen Sharan is a minivan (D-segment in Europe) manufactured by the German marque Volkswagen. It has been in production since 1995. It uses the same manufacturing platform as the Seat Alhambra, to the point of being very similar vehicles. In addition, the first generation was created in collaboration with Ford, being the Ford Galaxy a product of this company union. This deal was temporary and while Ford developed its own platform for its MPV, the VAG Group followed its own path with the Sharan and the Alhambra. The Sharan was created for for drivers who preferred to buy a larger and more spacious vehicle than the Volkswagen Touran.

There have been a total of 2 generations of this minivan.
