About PEUGEOT 807
The Peugeot 807 is a D-segment MPV manufactured by Sevel Nord, known as the second-generation Sevel Eurovan and produced for PSA, Fiat, and Lancia since 1994. In the case of Peugeot, the first generation of this vehicle corresponds to the Peugeot 806.
The Peugeot 807 was the result of dissatisfaction by PSA and Fiat Professional with the first-generation Eurovan. Both brands, owners of Sevel Nord, concluded that the Eurovan lacked sufficient personality and wanted to give it a facelift to improve its sales. This model arrived in 2002 and had up to 3 phases. Production ceased in 2014.
Once again, this vehicle was marketed under all the brands that were already present in the first generation of the Eurovan, with the difference that the Citroen version was renamed Citroen C8 (formerly Citroen Evasion), the Lancia model was renamed Lancia Phedra (Lancia Zeta in the first generation), and the Fiat version kept its name, becoming the Fiat Ulysse II.
The four MPVs are practically identical to each other, save for differences in upholstery and some equipment options. This generation stands out particularly for its interior qualities, as better materials were used to clearly differentiate itself from competitor MPVs, such as the Renault Espace, the Ford Galaxy, the Volkswagen Sharan, or the Seat Alhambra, among others.
