Peugeot 107: timing chain or timing belt information

About Peugeot 107

The Peugeot 107 is a subcompact or city car in the A-segment from the French manufacturer PSA (now known as Stellantis). The 107 was born from a collaboration between PSA (Peugeot and Citroën) and Toyota. It is produced in Kolin, Czech Republic. The Citroën C1 and Toyota Aygo also roll out of this factory.

Unlike the C1 and the Aygo, the Peugeot 107 only has one generation. In 2014, Peugeot decided to replace the 107 with the Peugeot 108. The other brands that market this car simply kept their previous names. The differences between them are truly minor, differing only in equipment and some body elements.

Regarding engines, the 107 features PSA group HDi diesel engines with common rail. The gasoline versions are supplied by Toyota, providing a three-cylinder, one-liter engine with 4 valves per cylinder.

The 107's competitors at the time included the Renault Twingo, the Volkswagen Fox, and the Smart Fortwo, among others.
