Subaru Levorg — TIMING CHAIN OR BELT?

MODEL LIST - (UPDATED 2023)

| Home / Subaru / List of Subaru Levorg Models without Timing Belt

The Subaru Levorg is a mid-size car with station wagon body style (D-segment in Europe) produced by the Japanese automaker Subaru. It is based on the Subaru Impreza and the Subaru Legacy platform. It also replaces the Subaru Legacy on the European market. In many countries it is called Subaru Legacy Touring, Subaru STI Wagon Sport or Subaru Impreza Wagon. The name “Levorg” comes from “Legacy Revolution Touring”. It is commercially available since 2015 and has a total of two generations.

The first-generation Levorg features boxer, intercooled and turbocharged engines. Its most characteristic feature is the air intake on the hood. This air intake was removed in 2019 in the redesign of the model (facelift). In order to meet Euro 6d-TEMP emissions regulations, Subaru had to remove the intercooler, making the intake unnecessary. They also removed the turbocharger and replaced it with a naturally aspirated engine with multi-point injection.

The Levorg competes against the Opel Insignia Sports Tourer, the Volkswagen Passat Variant, the Skoda Octavia Combi, the Peugeot 508 SW and the Ford Mondeo Sportbreak.
