About Opel Insignia
The Opel Insignia is a D-segment passenger car manufactured by the German automaker Opel. It succeeds both the Opel Vectra and the Opel Signum. It has been sold under multiple names around the world with different brands owned by General Motors, such as the Vauxhall Insignia in the United Kingdom, Buick Regal in the United States and China, or Holden Commodore in Australia and New Zealand. In Chile, it began to be marketed under the Vectra surname, but it was standardized with the name Opel Insignia shortly after.
There have been a total of 2 generations of the Insignia, which saw the light of day for the first time in 2008.
