About OPEL KARL
The Opel Karl is a subcompact urban car or city car from segment A by the German brand Opel. It was developed and manufactured by GM Korea, with this vehicle originally being a rebadged version of the Chevrolet Spark. It went on sale in 2015 as a replacement for the Opel Agila. The name of this vehicle refers to the eldest son of Adam Opel, the founder of the brand. In the United Kingdom, this model was marketed as the Vauxhall Viva.
The Adam is a very simple vehicle with a three-cylinder, one-liter gasoline engine and fairly modest fuel consumption. This model was especially targeted at Europe, although it did not reach all countries. At the end of 2019, Opel stopped manufacturing this model because the brand passed from General Motors to the French PSA group. There is only one generation of this city car.
The Opel Karl competed with other vehicles in its segment such as the Kia Picanto, Hyundai i10, Toyota Aygo, Volkswagen Up!, Renault Twingo, Fiat 500, Nissan Pixo, or Suzuki Splash among many others.
