The Suzuki Across is a SUV (C-segment in Europe) manufactured by the Japanese marque Suzuki. It is a version of the Toyota RAV4 hybrid that is only sold in the European market. The two brands reached an agreement about this model in order to reduce Suzuki’s CO2 quotas. That way Suzuki could continue to sell in the European market without having to face monetary sanctions. It is also Suzuki’s first PHEV vehicle.
The Across is a plug-in hybrid vehicle. It is identical to the RAV4, except for the front grille, which uses the design of the Chinese-market Toyota Wildlander. In terms of powertrains, the Suzuki Across is only available in a 2.5-litre petrol configuration with CVT transmission and four-wheel drive.
There is only one generation of this vehicle to date.
