The Infiniti QX30 is a subcompact luxury crossover SUV (C-segment in Europe) manufactured by the Japanese automaker Nissan under its premium Infiniti brand. The QX30 is largely based on the Q30 hatchback (with modifications to its heigh). Nissan’s target was market it as a crossover.
Both the Q30 and QX30 are based on the first generation Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class and the third generation Mercedes-Benz A-Class. In other words, both use Daimler’s Modular Front Architecture. The QX30 was produced from 2016 until mid-2019. Subsequently, the brand withdrew from Europe.
U.S. and Canadian models went on sale in mid-2016 with 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engines and seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Diesel variants were exclusively sold in Europe.
Among its competitors we can highlight the Audi Q3, BMW X1, Cupra Formentor, Lexus UX, Jaguar E-Pace, Range Rover Evoque and Acura RDX. There was only one generation of this vehicle.
