| Home / Honda / List of Honda CR-Z Models without Timing Belt

The Honda CR-Z is a compact hybrid coupe car (C-segment in Europe) manufactured by the Japanese marque Honda. Its acronym stands for ‘Sport Hybrid Coupe‘. The CR-Z uses a combination of gasoline/petrol and electric engine with many sports car elements, such as the 2+2 seating arrangement. The CR-Z is considered the successor to the second generation Honda CR-X.

The Honda CR-Z is a coupé focused on being a low-polluting vehicle. Its hybrid technology is called IMA (‘Integrated Motor Assist‘). The vehicle was marketed between 2010 and the end of 2016. It was manufactured for only one generation.

In 2016, the CR-Z received a final facelift before production ceased, adding the EX-L trim. Originally, a second generation was to be released in 2018, but for reasons unknown, Honda shelved this model.
