MODEL LIST - (UPDATED 2023)

| Home / Honda / List of Honda NSX Models without Timing Belt

The Honda NSX is a two-seater sports car manufactured by the Japanese marque Honda. It is a high-performance mid-rear-engine vehicle. It is sold as Acura NSX — Honda’s premium brand— in countries such as the United States and Hong Kong.

The first-generation NSX was a revolution, featuring a monocoque chassis, electronic power steering and drive-by-wire steering. Its VTEC engine had a titanium block, allowing the propellant to roar up to 8000 rpm. During its long life cycle, the NSX had quite a few upgrades, such as increased displacement, gearboxes, suspensions… Some variants were only sold in specific markets. Some of these models were the NSX Type S, NSX Type S-Zero, NSX-R, NSX-R GT and even an Alex Zanardi version that was sold in the USA for his double victory in the CART IndyCar.

The second-generation Honda / Acura NSX is a hybrid supercar. It was presented at the 2015 Detroit Motor Show as a new generation advanced supercar. It features a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine and support by 3 electric motors. Although there are several versions, the most powerful variant offers 581 hp of combined power.

There are 2 generations of the Honda / Acura NSX. Among its competitors are the Porsche 911, the Mercedes-AMG GT, the Audi R8, the Lamborghini Huracan and the Nissan GT-R.
