About HONDA JAZZ CROSSTAR
The Honda Jazz Crosstar is a variant of the Honda Jazz, a subcompact utility vehicle produced by the Japanese manufacturer Honda. It is positioned in segment B, between the Honda Fit / Jazz and the Civic. The Crosstar was introduced in 2021 based on the fourth generation of the Jazz launched in 2020, standing out for its higher ground clearance, body-around protections, and specific exterior details to convey that adventurous spirit. This vehicle is also marketed as the Honda Fit Crosstar.
The Jazz Crosstar shares 1.5 L gasoline engines of 102 and 130 hp with the Jazz, but features a body that is 30 millimeters higher and protections on the bumpers and sides to give it that SUV look. It is manufactured at Honda's plant in Swindon, United Kingdom, on Honda's B platform. In Europe, this model is currently marketed only with hybrid powertrains.
The name Crosstar alludes to the off-road capability of this Jazz, designed for people with an adventurous spirit. Regarding its direct rivals, we could highlight equivalent hybrid models such as the Toyota Yaris Cross or the hybrid Renault Captur. Models like the Ford Fiesta Active, the Hyundai i20 Active, or the Dacia Sandero Stepway also compete against it.
