The Honda HR-V is a subcompact SUV (B-segment in Europe) manufactured by the Japanese marque Honda. Its bodywork would fall within the concept ‘SUV’, ‘crossover’ or as it is better known today, ‘SUV Coupe’. This vehicle has two stages. The first generation is based on the Honda Logo and had a more off-road design. The second generation was born after the rise of SUV bodies, based on the Honda Fit. Its name means “Hi-rider Revolutionary Vehicle“.

The HR-V competes with other vehicles in its segment, especially the Mazda CX-30 and Toyota C-HR within its Japanese market. In the rest of the world it also competes against the Fiat 500X, Ford Puma and Jeep Renegade. There are 2 generations of this model to date.
