The Nissan GT-R R35 is a grand touring car manufactured by the Japanese marque Nissan. It succeeds the Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) and was launched in 2007. It is produced on the Nissan Premium Midship platform.

It has a coupe body and the engine is the same in all versions, a 3.8-liter twin-turbo 60° V6. The engine has a double overhead camshaft (DOHC) and 24 valves (4 per cylinder) and indirect injection (Nissan EGI).

The GT-R R35 has many versions, as it is a model that has been on the market for quite a few years. Over the years, the GT-R SpecV (2010), GT-R Premium Edition (2013), GT-R Nismo (2014), GT-R Black Edition (2016), GT-R Track Edition (2017-2018), and GT-R50 by Italdesign (2018) versions have been marketed.

The Nissan GT-R has quite a few competitors, each with its own peculiarities, such as the Mercedes-AMG GT-S, the Acura NSX, the Audi R8, the Porsche 718 Cayman, the Jaguar F-Type and the BMW 8 Series.
