| Home / Nissan / List of Nissan Tiida Models without Timing Belt

The Nissan Tiida is a compact car (C-segment in Europe) manufactured by the Japanese marque Nissan. This model has had many names, and follows the evolutionary line of the Nissan Pulsar.

The Tiida has had three generations since its production started in 2004, when it arrived to take over from the Nissan Almera. This model has been sold in both hatchback and sedan body styles, although the latter is not available in all markets.

The first-generation Tiida was built on a version of the Renault-Nissan B platform with an extended wheelbase. In North America, this model was marketed as the Nissan Versa. Nissan launched facelifted models starting in 2008. Most versions were gasoline, although in Europe it was also sold with the K9K diesel block.

The second generation was launched in 2011. At this time, only hatchback versions were launched. In some countries, this model was sold as Nissan Pulsar.

The third-generation model was sold as Nissan Pulsar throughout Europe, and as Nissan Tiida in China and Russia. It was launched in 2014 and stopped being sold in 2018. In China, This model is still on sale on the Chinese market.

Among its competitors we can find cars such as the Ford Focus, Fiat Tipo, Opel Astra, Peugeot 308, Toyota Auris / Corolla, Seat Leon, or Renault Megane.
