The Nissan Note is a subcompact minivan (B-segment in Europe) manufactured by the Japanese marque Nissan. This model was sold mainly in Japan and Europe. In its country of origin, it was marketed as Nissan Versa Note.

The first-generation Note came out in 2006, and was produced on Nissan’s B platform. It was sold with gasoline/petrol and diesel engines and different equipment packages.

The second generation model was introduced in 2013. This Nissan Note was designed on the V-platform alongside the Juke. These vehicles were equipped with improved, more efficient engines. In 2017, the Japanese brand introduced the e-Power hybrid versions, with an electric motor derived from the Nissan Leaf.

The third and current generation Nissan Note is produced on the Renault-Nissan CMF-B platform. It shares many elements with the Renault Clio. This model is exclusively equipped with hybrid engines.

The Nissan Note has a total of 3 generations to date. Its competitors include the Renault Modus, Citroen C3 Picasso, Fiat 500L, Hyundai Matrix, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Ford B-Max, Honda Jazz and Opel Meriva among many others.
