Skoda Scala — TIMING CHAIN OR BELT?

MODEL LIST - (UPDATED 2023)

| Home / Skoda / List of Skoda Scala Models without Timing Belt

The Skoda Scala is a compact hatchback (C-segment in Europe) by the Czech brand Škoda and manufactured by the Volkswagen Group. It was introduced in 2019 and is an intermediate step between the Skoda Fabia and Octavia. It is available in hatchback bodywork and is based on the VAG Group’s MQB A0 platform, which is usually for B-segment vehicles. Although it is a compact car and competes with other similar hatchbacks, it differs from the Octavia, Volkswagen Golf and Seat Leon (which use the MQB Evo platform) in that the wheelbase is smaller.

Scala’s competitors are quite varied. Among them we can find the Opel Astra, the Hyundai i30, the Renault Megane or the Kia Ceed. There is only one generation of this car.
