The Lexus CT is a hybrid electric compact vehicle (C segment in Europe). It is a hatchback produced by Lexus, the premium brand of the Japanese producer Toyota. It is the deluxe version of Toyota Prius, created in the Toyota New MC platform, which also produces the Toyota Auris. It was first introduced in the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.
Its acronym stands for “Creative Touring”. This car model has only one generation. Its bodywork has undergone several redesigns in the decade its’s been on the market. Among its competitors you can see cars such as Audi A3, DS 4, BMW 1 Series, Mini Clubman and Mercedes-Benz A Class.
