The Hyundai Creta is a subcompact SUV (B-segment in Europe) manufactured by the South Korean marque Hyundai Motor Company. It was launched in 2014. It is also known as Hyundai Cantus. It is an international Hyundai model, although not in Europe, since the Koreans decided to bet on the Hyundai Kona to cover this segment in the European market.

The first-generation Hyundai Creta was built on the Hyundai-Kia PB platform, shared with the Rio, Soul and Accent, among many others.

The second generation Hyundai Creta was launched in 2019. In some South Asian countries, this model took over from the Kona. In the interiors, the Creta and the ix25 (the model for China), differ quite a bit. This vehicle stands out especially for its great design.

In mid-2021, Hyundai launched a longer version of this model called Hyundai Alcazar (India), Hyundai Creta Grand (Mexico) or Hyundai Grand Creta (international version). This “long wheel base” model is a 6-7 seat SUV with diesel and gasoline engines.
