About MAZDA CX-60
The Mazda CX-60 is a D-segment mid-size SUV by the Japanese manufacturer Mazda. It was introduced in March 2022, so for now it only has one generation. It has no direct predecessor, although in terms of size it is positioned between the CX-5 and the CX-9.
The Mazda CX-60 debuted Mazda's new Large Product Group platform, featuring rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. It is available with various gasoline, diesel, and plug-in hybrid engines.
Aesthetically, the CX-60 opts for an elegant and sporty design in line with its premium positioning. Inside, the 12.3-inch central screen and the digital instrument cluster stand out.
Entering the realm of trivia, the CX-60 is the first Mazda model to incorporate a facial recognition system to personalize vehicle settings according to the driver. It is also a pioneer in compression-ignition diesel technology with distribution-controlled combustion (DCPCI).
This Mazda model competes directly with other premium vehicles in its segment, such as the BMW X3, the Mercedes-Benz GLC, the Audi Q5, or the Lexus NX.
